My two dogs are 105-pounds and 70 pounds respectively. I used the chart provided to purchase prong collars based on weight. It made a huge difference in the 105-pound dog who had been on an old prong from my 70-pound dog! The chart really helped with the purchase. Thank you.

So apparently it will cost you $8 to return or $13 to exchange. Unless you click something that I must have missed on the checkout page.
Also, the collar I picked is a little big, although the size was "44-88lb dogs", which my dog is 55lbs and the size is a little too big. I would have gone down a size if HS would let me exchange without costing me more $$. It might be easier to provide measurements of the neck and not poundage, or both, since I measured her neck with a tailor's tape. Whatever. I guess I should stick to the local pet stores to make sure that the product I receive is the one I want, and can exchange/return with no additional fees.

I’ve been using these collars for a couple of years now and can’t say enough about how amazing they are for humane control. The prong collar is very effective and immediately calmed my 7 month old Great Pyrenees pup down on leash. He was unruly and pulled so hard against his standard flat collar, that it choked him…. But that didn’t stop the pulling! Immediately after putting on the Herm Springer collar and a little introduction to its function for my dog, his behavior was immediately changed. He no longer pulls on leash and is much more attentive to my direction with light touch on the leash. I only use the collar on leash and he doesn’t wear it any other time for obvious safety reasons. My small schnauzer mix had a similar reaction to the collar and immediately was more manageable on leash. I’m a fan for life! These products, when used safely and as recommended are an asset to dog training and I highly recommend them!
