As a professional trainer, I've recommended HS products for years. I always recommended the 2.25mm prong for most every dog because of the precise size adjustments it allowed. But since this collar was released I now recommend this one. It is extremely well made, just like all of the HS products - made in Germany to high standards. This is the pinch collar I recommend 100%!

Our 60 lb Malinois is young and powerful. This collar is much more sturdier than the slightly smaller 2.25mm so it’s better peace of mind when out and about with her and while training.

I had a few questions concerning the right size for my mixed breed Lab who is quite active after I returned the HS prong collar I thought would fit him but it was way too big and heavy. I contacted Herm Sprenger and they suggested a certain one of their prong collars and it fits great. I purchased their locking clip and was able to adjust the collar size by removing 4 prongs and installed the locking clip myself. I also purchased the prong covers. The collar works well and is comfortable on my dog.

These collars are high quality. Known as the best training collar. Customer service was great. I will buy more products from herm springer as needed. Thank you

The ULTRA-PLUS Training Prong Collar - Stainless steel black, 3.0 mm (Short Version) is the perfect collar for my Doberman who is strong but has a thin neck. The long version of the collar when fitted to my dog’s neck only had a couple prongs on each side. This collar provides the same strength with shorter links so more prongs are in the fitted collar. Add the cliclock buckle for a quick release option.
