I cannot express how happy we have been with this collar. First of all the quality and craftsmanship is immediately apparent when compared to similar products on the market. The welds are all solid, the edges are clean and smooth and the finish is consistent throughout. Now on to the important part, this collar has completely changed our dog training and our cay to day life all the same. The collar is similar to a dominant dog collar with the floating ring, which allows tension to be pulled through just like a slip collar allows the collar to freely move with the dogs which has been great when hiking because as soon as she get's to far from me the collar begins to add tension and feedback for her to comply wit. The responsivness of the collar is great and in combination with the Sprenger hook this the most versatile collar I have ever owned, not only can can you clip into the big ring, making a "flat collar", you can clip into a smaller link to shorten the collar in a fixed position, making sure that even the best escape artist are locked in providing confidence to the owner knowing that they can keep there dog safe and under control. The adjustability has allowed for us to be able to use this collar for both of our dogs, the chain is strong enough to hold back my reactive Pitbull (40 lbs)n when she sees a squirrel yet, when used correctly and safely with proper training, the collar can be adjusted to fit our smaller heeler mix and thanks to the immediate feedback of the collar only needs very gentle and light corrections. All in all this product has worked great for both of our dogs and we absolutely love it, now we are just waiting to get it in another color!
