The cheekpieces offer mild leverage and effect on the poll & tongue, as well as some lateral support. This bit is an especially popular schooling option for lower level and/or developing dressage horses.
Please note, we find that due to the shape of this cheekpiece style, we recommend sizing up if your horse is between sizes.
