IQ Dogsport Performance Pro Click & Go Protection Dog Harness

In protection work and extreme dog sports, the dog has to give everything — and conventional protection harnesses hold him back. They restrict freedom of movement, limit breathing under load, and redirect pull force in a way that can flip the dog over during line work. Many designs also press directly on the shoulders or spine. The IQ Performance Pro was built to solve all of that at once. Developed over three years with veterinarians, physiotherapists, and dog sport handlers, it's the first harness to combine the pulling power of a proper sport harness with the demands of serious protection work.

The construction across the shoulders and spine doesn't press anywhere, letting the dog move with full freedom at maximum drive. Pull force is directed between the front legs toward the breastbone instead of the throat, so the trachea stays clear — dogs bark more freely and their endurance holds up under pressure. On the line or at the post, dogs rise less and land back on all fours faster, reducing the risk of injury during decoy work. This is possible thanks to a saddle-style back construction modeled on horse saddles, with a central tunnel along the spinous processes that keeps pressure off the spine entirely. Individually adjustable padding also protects the shoulder blades.

Putting the harness on and taking it off is fast and secure: Auto-Lock magnetic buckles (Click & Go) or Cobra buckles each hold the dog independently, giving a double-secured closure. The Auto-Lock buckle is magnetically guided and mechanically locked, tested from −29 °C to +65 °C, weather-resistant, and glove-friendly for single-hand use. 

K9 handlers confirm the difference in practice: more powerful bark and hold, stronger forward drive, no flipping over in leash work, free breathing under load, and a stable position that doesn't ride up from the chest into the throat.
