I was really looking forward to working with the Herm Sprenger 3mm hybrid collar that has shorter links like the 2.25 but with the girth of tbe 3mm. It's just right for my 52# Labradoodle. She's a very strong puller. I only have to exert light pressure for her to divert her attention back to me.I worked with her in the yard first and she behaved like she was an A student. Out in the field, she needs more correction and redirecting. I do, however, have to work with her on her reactivity to other dogs. I don't think I should use the collar on her yet in those situations because she loses all focus when she sees other dogs. Not aggressive, just eager to play or be with them. She has no fear of the collar. She just takes it in as part of getting ready to go out on the trails. Quality is top shelf. And many thanks to customer service in helping me select the best option for my dog.

Great product

As a professional trainer, I've recommended HS products for years. I always recommended the 2.25mm prong for most every dog because of the precise size adjustments it allowed. But since this collar was released I now recommend this one. It is extremely well made, just like all of the HS products - made in Germany to high standards. This is the pinch collar I recommend 100%!

Our 60 lb Malinois is young and powerful. This collar is much more sturdier than the slightly smaller 2.25mm so it’s better peace of mind when out and about with her and while training.
