Description
A toggle chain collar should always be used with a leash.
The toggle is designed to help you slip the collar on and off easily, but it does not secure the collar in place. If the collar is worn without a leash attached, it can loosen during movement and may slip over the dog’s head—especially if the dog shakes or backs up.
For safety and proper use, we always recommend clipping a leash to the live ring when your dog is wearing a toggle chain collar.
Suggestions for Size Selection
When choosing one of these collars, we suggest choosing the length that is approx. 2" longer than your dog's true neck measurement.
For example, if your dog's neck measurement is 16", you will want to choose at least a 18" size option for comfortable fit
